Ardennes chippings are a type of crushed limestone from the Ardennes in Belgium. Ardennes Grey chippings are medium grey in colour with some pretty white veins. Besides the grey chippings, there is also a yellow variety, please see Ardennes Yellow chippings. Ardennes Grey is a very popular ornamental crushed stone for the driveway and parking lot because of its hardness. For these purposes, the sizes 7/14 mm or 14/20 mm are commonly used. In addition, the chippings can also be used as a very stylish rockery. For the darker version of limestone, see Doornik Limestone.
